In the story below, ALEX AND ANI Ridgewood shares how a they helped reunite a woman with a bangle that she had misplaced due to it being found and turned in by a kind stranger. It’s a must read!

Recently, a woman named Lisa called our store inquiring about a bangle she had found. She spoke with one of our bartenders, Christina, and explained that she was in a parking lot when she stumbled upon an ALEX AND ANI box. Inside the box was a Mother Mary bangle and a receipt. Lisa was hoping that there was a way for us to figure out who the owner of the bangle could be. Christina took down the receipt number, and Lisa’s information, and promised to get back in touch with her once she looked into it with the management team.
Christina and the managers were able to locate the owner of the lost bangle’s name (Jenna) and her e-mail. Christina e-mailed Jenna to let her know that her bangle had been found, and Jenna called the store within ten minutes! She was absolutely thrilled that someone had found her bracelet, and she could not believe that Lisa was kind enough to try to get it back to her! Jenna shared with Christina that she had been having a tough time and that she had giving up hope. This lifted her spirits and she was extremely grateful. Christina called Lisa back, told her how happy she had made Jenna, and Lisa shipped the bangle to our store.
Jenna will be coming in this week to get her Mother Mary, and our entire staff cannot wait to meet her and share in her gratitude for Lisa’s act of kindness. We were all so inspired, that the managers chipped in to buy Lisa a Four Leaf Clover candle for ‘Blessing, Fortune and Prosperity,’ all the sentiments we wish for her! This story of true kindness reminds us to pay it forward and proves that taking the extra step can really make a difference.
